Our Courses
LEVEL 1 — First Shots Your first time at the range should be memorable for the right reasons. First Shots is a guided introduction to safe firearms handling — available for both handguns and rifles. No experience required, no pressure, no judgment. You’ll leave knowing how to safely handle, load, and fire under the direct supervision of an NRA certified instructor. This is where every shooter starts – whether with us or somewhere else.

LEVEL 2 — Basic Courses Safe handling and real marksmanship — rifle, shotgun, and pistol. Basic courses build the foundation every shooter needs: safe operation, accuracy, and confidence on paper targets. Our Basic Rifle course has met the Florida Hunter Safety hands on firearms training portion requirement for hunting licenses for teens in the past. This is up to the FWC instructor to evaluate. Completing a basic course is the prerequisite for defensive training — because you have to hit what you aim at before you can defend what you love.

Level 3 — Defensive Courses Defensive shooting is not about hitting the bullseye. It’s about stopping a threat — under stress, in the dark, with people you love nearby. Personal protection in the home, personal protection on the street, and advanced defensive pistol. Three courses built on real LEO and military experience covering Florida law, defensive mindset, and the skills that matter when the range ends and reality begins. Safe. Personal defense is common sense.

Small groups by design.
With rare exceptions of some groups like CAP, our classes rarely exceed more than four students per class and never exceed 4 shooters on the line at a time. Because this work deserves personal attention.
Classes held in Mayo, North Central Florida or at a range near you upon request. Most courses use NRA materials and receive NRA certificates upon successful completion.
